Building Web Sites the Flexible Way – Content Management Systems
This short course is conducted as four 3-hour sessions.
The aim of the course is to cover the alternative way of developing and maintaining web sites, using content management systems. Content management systems (CMS) provide a completely different model of website development than the normal approach. Using a database to store the content it is the ideal way to design a website that an inexperienced person or people need to update regularly and wish to do so themselves. It protects the design of the website from the content creators. It also offers a rapid development approach for experienced web designers.
